Heather is a chartered accountant with almost 15 years of experience working in business, charities and the public sector. She has held senior finance positions managing sales and purchase ledger, financial accounting, payroll, process improvements, VAT and statutory accounts.
It is her experience that accurate financial data not only keeps you compliant and on the right side of HMRC but also that efficient processes enable you to focus on achieving your business goals. Heather co-founded Contando to help businesses by easing the burden of compliance, freeing them up to focus on what they really want to do.

With a degree in Economy and Business Management, Marco has been running his own successful investing business almost 15 years before co founding Contando. Marco’s focus is on management information and helping businesses to use quality reporting to analyse their performance and identify opportunity to improve and grow. Marco is a keen advocate of using the right solution to solve each problem and has supported clients with implementing bolt on apps to complement Xero. Marco co-founded Contando to support other businesses in achieving their ambitions.
